Since a sales company, Maxell
Corporation of America, was established in the U.S.A.
in 1969, Maxell has been promoting localization of both
sales and production. In our sales activities, we have
organized several local firms in America, Europe and Asia,
and have been supplying excellent service reflecting the
needs of our local markets. In the area of production
we established a plant in Georgia, U.S.A. in 1979. Maxell
Europe Ltd., in Telford, U.K., was set up as a production
base in Europe in 1984. In 1987, we established Maxell
Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn, Bhd in Malaysia as an Asian
production center. Quick supply of quantity goods to our
local service systems designed to meet the needs of the
local market are the keynotes of our management policy.
We emphasize our contribution to the economy, culture
and society of the regional market, positively promote
the local procurement of necessary materials, expansion
of employment, transfer of technology, and re- investment
of profit obtained from the local operation into its manufacturing
facilities and other cultural and social activities. Our
goal is to internationalize through the concept of prosperous
co-existence. |
